The Althoff’s of Minocqua recently had a planter/ retaining wall built by Alpine Landscaping- Northwoods. We contacted the owner, Spencer Kibler, last winter, not having any knowledge of who he was or the quality of work his company provided. That can be intimidating in the NORTHWOODS. Spencer was receptive to our request regarding the project and went to our location even when there was still snow on the ground. We were able to provide him with information regarding the exact stone we wanted and where he could obtain it. He was able to quickly provide an estimate and his best availability for the project. We accepted his very fair proposal and his mid- June date. He contacted us around the 12th of June and started the demo right on time. Materials were exactly as we had discussed. Spencer has a great crew of very hard working young men. The project took about a week. They ran into some difficulties with stubborn roots but Spencer tackled the obstacles with his heavy equipment. I feel we had a great experience with Spencer and his team. He was always open to our suggestions and concerns. We would definitely contact him again for future hardscape projects. The Althoff’s
